Are they stealing your photos?
IMAGE THEFT — Who is Stealing my photos? O.K., in rare cases it might be called “stealing”, (a compliment by the way if the thief likes your work that much that it gets stolen!) – so let’s not call it ‘stealing’ let’s call it “taking.” O.k. – who is taking my photos and using them for whatever? There’s help. SmugMug, the popular photo-hosting place just recently published some information on this subject. Be sure to read the section on Pinterest and how to prevent visitors from taking your photos and admiring them (by posting them) on their own site. SmugMug gives you some code to prevent this from happening. But wait, aren’t you missing out on some cool promotion for your imagery? –RE
